I am Lord Kraven, Head of the Vampires. I am a four thousand year old vampire, rounded to the nearest millennium, whom doesn't like most things that walk, talk and breath. I have no heart as it was given to Lady Mina, for safe keeping, and act as according. There are four-thousand years of memories that I would share with all of you here, and not enough space to write it in.
A little bit of information about my bloodline: I'm part of a nearly extinct line of vampires whom have existed since the beginning of humanity. My father was the first of this bloodline, and my mother a human, resulting in a more powerful half-vampire child. Being as I'm one, if not the only one, of my kind, I don't have much information for those of my bloodline, like Lilith.
Before the construction of the empire, I encountered young Lilith and Kronos roaming the darkness of their temporary home. Fascinated by creatures' who's very breath was evil beyond my comprehension, I waited for the right time. When her companion left her side, I struck. I drank her essence in, only to have my heart damaged by the pure evil that it was being fed. I realized that she was a one of a kind being and needed to be mine, so I gave her the blood of many millenia and turned her. The event was very unpleasant, and only had partial success, as only a fraction of her is vampire. I am also ashamed to say that, though she is my fledgling, Lilith's strength nearly precedes my own. We've shared a special bond from that moment on, family when nobody else would take us in.
Kronos followed her, regardless of what I'd done to her. He acts as a servant more than anything else, but still holds respect despite his jobs. He is dangerous, as I have discovered in many of our more violent encounters, and is a true evil, though he tends to be fun to be around. Today we are good friends.
When Empress Lilith took Lady Mina in, my feelings about the subject were hostile. I had always had an animosity towards Lycans, and was even forced to kill them in vain attempts to regain honor that was lost to me many lifetimes ago. As I learned just how badly Empress Lilith needs her. Being the sacrificing person I am, I decided to give the ani-human a chance. Now I love her, though this isn't part of her irresponsibility towards others. I know her for who she truly is. She is like a sister to me, and I'd willing die for her.
Though I'm not involved in the creation of Blake per say, I am his vampiric go to person. Whenever he has a question concerning the actions of the vampire community, I'm the one who has to deal with it.
I've recently discovered a very interesting lycan, whom is almost as old as I. Vincent *shivers* is a powerful lycan who is in charge of protecting Lady Mina. Of coarse, if I had any say in the matter, I would have the lycan beheaded, drowned, and any other form of execution performed on his worthless body that popped into my head. I'm not stupid, though, and have attempted most of the above ideas. Thus, until he's had his seal removed, I've decided to strike a deal with the dirty lycan that says that we don't try to kill each other until his seal is removed and he can die. In the mean time, I will grow stronger and regain my former strength from before I bit Empress Lilith.
I am in charge of any and all who are undead, and take the responsibility seriously. Those who disobey me or Empress Lilith will face their ultimate doom to the hands of a true psychopathic killer who has seen the setting of insurmountable days. My imagination runs wicked and twisted, and my will has what it takes to bring my wishes to fruition. Time is your enemy once you've been condemned by me.
Welcome to new comers, this is your only warning.
Allow me to explain a few things that I couldn't state in my story. I am the son of the first American vampire. The other firsts are Drake (most commonly known as Dracula) the European first, and Akasha the African first. These great beings came into existence 6 thousand years ago at the exact same time. Akasha and Drake were turned by the interference of demonic entities in our plane, Drake signed a pact with Lucifer and Akasha's blood being changed by demons. My father's change occurred 40 years after his birth, resulting in a massive mutation of all his cells. His body requires human food, as well as blood, and can walk in the sunlight. Seeing as they're all so old, Akasha and Drake can also walk in the sun, but my father has been able to since his change.
Akasha's children call themselves the Children of Darkness, thinking they are the children of Satan. They perform evil deeds, and look out for nobody but themselves. They can only be destroyed by the Sun and fire, and are nearly human. Unlike my father, she and all of her children are incapable of changing the way they look for over a night. Over time, this bloodline becomes stronger until they can walk in sunlight and even create fires with their minds.
Drakes children are those who are responsible for all vampires being hunted using stakes and crosses. They cannot touch water, and are slave to the sun's power. Effective methods to kill them is to: Burn, Decapitate, and Stake. This bloodline is capable of minor, and stereotypical, transformations into the vampire bat, and sometimes into a wolf (Mist is only a myth.)
My father's bloodline is capable of a wider range of transformations including: wolves, bears, hawks, and really any other animal in existence. We are all immune to the suns power, though it does tend to bother our eyes a bit, and we can touch water. As long as our heart stays out of harms way, fire doesn't have much of an effect on us either (we just heal and be done with it). The most effective way to kill a vampire of my father's bloodline would be to burn our entire body, or at least our heart. Our kind, I was told, was supposed to fight to protect a balance that existed between the Naturals (All life) and the Supernaturals (All Vampires, Werewolves, and Humans), though my father failed to exercise this duty as he tried to recreate life in me.
All vampires share the same universal strength and speed, though there are many variations depending on age and bloodline.
A bit more information about myself. I was born a half-vampire when my father was over two thousand years old. I aged until I was fifteen, then I went through the purge. After that point I entered a state of depression at my loss of life, and I became a shell. My father exiled me from his house when I was 3,815 years old, and expected me to die of my own accord. I fled to France, hiding with a traveling cirque of vampires. For two hundred years I learned new abilities I had, and mastered old ones. I then returned at the turn of the new millennium, to exact revenge on my barbaric father. I dismembered him, and burned the pieces. Now I'm the only known vampire of my kind. Simple as that.
Now that I've given you more information about how everything was set in motion, and about myself, I hope you'll act less ignorantly when you live your vampire lives.
